Blepharoplasty

PROCEDURE DETAILS

Upper and lower blepharoplasty, or eyelid surgery, is a surgical procedure designed to rejuvenate the periorbital area by removing or repositioning excess skin, muscle, and protruding fat. Upper blepharoplasty corrects hooded, sagging upper lids through an incision hidden in the natural crease, while lower blepharoplasty targets under-eye bags and puffiness via an incision beneath the lashes or inside the lower lid.

This patient is 6 months out from combination of browlift, upper and lower blepharoplasty (upper and lower eyelid surgery)  and fat grafting to her face. This is a great combination of procedures to rejuvenate upper half of the face. Upper eyelid surgery removes the excess skin, browlift improves the brow position, and the lower eyelid surgery not only removes the excess skin, but we are able to reposition the fat to give more volume where it is needed in the cheek area.
