Blepharoplasty
PROCEDURE DETAILS

Patient complained of looking tired and having loose skin on her upper eyelids. As such, upper blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) was performed to remove the extra skin and sharpen the appearance of the eye, making the eyes more refreshed and youthful. Patient is only 3 weeks out so the swelling will settle over time but there is minimal bruising and the eyes do not look unnatural. Most patients need about 1 week to recover from surgery (mostly due to bruising and swelling).

Nuveau’s journey with each patient begins with understanding their unique desires and concerns. In this particular case, our patient sought to reinvigorate the youthful essence of her eyes, troubled by sagging skin that seemed to mask her vibrant spirit. Such concerns are not uncommon, and the telltale signs of time can leave many feeling misaligned with their inner vibrancy. Addressing her concerns, our specialists recommended and executed an upper blepharoplasty. This tailored approach aimed to meticulously eliminate the surplus skin and refine the eye contour. Now, a mere three weeks post-surgery, the transformation is already beginning to unveil. While some residual swelling remains, which will naturally dissipate over time, the minimal bruising and authentic appearance speak volumes of the expertise employed in the procedure. We often advise our patients that recovery is a phased process, typically spanning about a week due to the natural course of bruising and swelling.
