Remember: neurotoxins are not a one-size-fits-all treatment. Small adjustments are sometimes needed to balance natural muscle asymmetries and create the smooth, natural result my patients are after.
Most people naturally have one side that is more expressive, stronger, or more active than the other. That means one side may continue “pulling” a little more as your Daxxify or other neurotoxin kicks in. Therefore, it is extremely common to notice a forehead that isn’t relaxing perfectly.
This is exactly why we ask our patients to keep us updated during those first 14 days as everything settles. Daxxify is known for having a faster onset than many other neurotoxins, allowing us to evaluate results sooner and, if needed, perform a touch-up within the appropriate treatment window.
While we love how quickly Daxxify begins working, the final result matters most. By the second to third weeks, our patients are loving their smoother skin and softened lines.
