PROCEDURE DETAILS

Patient presented desiring improvement in the definition of his lower face. He was found to have a small chin resulting in imbalance between his lower face and upper face. As such, I recommended that he undergo chin augmentation with silicone implant. An appropriately-sized silicone implant was inserted using a submental (under the chin) incision. As you can see, the chin augmentation allows for improvement in the projection of the chin as well as improving the balance of the face as a whole. Moreover, insertion of chin implant gives better contour of the lower face and neck, giving the appearance of a more defined and contoured lower face.
