Blepharoplasty
PROCEDURE DETAILS
Patient complained of looking tired and having loose skin on her upper eyelids. As such, upper blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) was performed to remove the extra skin and sharpen the appearance of the eye, making the eyes more refreshed and youthful. Patient is 3 months post-op. There isn’t much difference in the eyes but the skin of the upper eyelid appears less loose as a result of removal of redundant skin. Most patients need about 1 week to recover from surgery (mostly due to bruising and swelling).
At Nuveau, we believe in providing solutions tailored to each individual’s concerns. Here, our esteemed patient approached us, hoping to remedy the tired appearance stemming from sagging skin on her upper eyelids. Guided by her aspirations and our expert insight, we embarked on an upper blepharoplasty journey, intent on restoring that youthful energy to her eyes. This surgical journey aimed to meticulously eliminate the surplus skin, refining the eye’s contour to radiate vibrancy.
Now, three months after the procedure, the subtle transformation is evident. While the overall eye appearance remains consistent, the tightened skin on the upper eyelid affirms the success of addressing its former laxity. Such procedures, while transformative, do necessitate a period of recovery. Typically, patients can anticipate a week’s duration, accounting for natural bruising and swelling, before they can fully embrace the refreshing change.
