Fat Transfer
PROCEDURE DETAILS
Patient presented for options for facial rejuvenation. Patient felt like her face was thinning and looking tired. On exam, she was noted to have volume depletion and subsequent sagging of tissue over her bony structures. She looked older than her stated age. She did not want any fillers and wanted a more permanent result. As such, autologous (own tissue) fat transfer (grafting) was performed. Liposuction of abdomen and flanks was performed to harvest the fat, which was then processed and injected into the face for total face volume restoration. Fat was injected into forehead, undereye (for tear trough deformity), temples (for temporal hollowing) cheeks and nose.
