PROCEDURE DETAILS

Patient presented desiring reduction in the size of her lower face and the so-called “v-line” contour to her lower face. Patient underwent v-line contouring which, in this case, included reduction of the lower jaw (mandible) by cutting the bone at its lower and posterior edges as well as contouring of the chin. Submental lipectomy (liposuction under the chin and on the neck) was also performed to give better contour to lower face and neck. Patient is close to one year out from surgery.
