- Vollure, on the other hand, combines a healthy medium of spreadability to treat areas such as the nasolabial folds while still allowing the face to make expressions and movements.

Ideal Candidates
The best candidates for Juvéderm injectable fillers are men or women who have facial lines and wrinkles they want to correct without surgery. Juvéderm can also help if you have naturally thin lips or age-related volume loss in your lips. Juvéderm injectable treatments are great if you want to improve your facial appearance without the expense and downtime of facial plastic surgery (facelift, brow lift, eyelid lift, lip implants).
Procedure Technique
Juvéderm injections typically only take 15 – 30 minutes depending on the number of areas being treated. The patient’s face will be cleaned and injections spots will be marked. To minimize discomfort during the treatment, Juvéderm fillers contain lidocaine (a local anesthetic). After their treatment, patients can resume their normal routine, but strenuous activity like exercise should be avoided for at least 24 hours. Patients should avoid touching their face after their injections to avoid moving the filler into unintended areas.
What To Expect
Patients should see an immediate improvement after their Juvéderm treatment, but they may also see mild swelling or bruising in the treated areas for 7 – 10 days after their injection. The results of Juvéderm injections last up to one year, but patients typically find that their results last longer after a few years of treatments.
