Bodytite™ Technique
The BodyTite procedure is generally performed with local anesthesia; however, general anesthesia may be used if you’re nervous or having several areas treated. The advanced BodyTite applicator is inserted through very small incisions in your skin. BodyTite has an internal and external thermometer to protect you from burns. The applicator will loosen and liquefy the fat using radiofrequency waves so the fat is easily suctioned from your body. The heat used during the fat elimination will tighten your connective tissue and skin for instant improvements. BodyTite therapies generally take around 30 – 45 minutes for each area. Several treatments may be needed or suggested by Dr. Lee to provide your best results.
What To Expect After Bodytite™
You’ll have to recover at home for 5 – 10 days after your BodyTite procedure. A compression garment should be worn over the treated areas to encourage healing while also holding your new contours. Some results may be seen immediately; however, your final results will not be apparent for 3 – 6 months when the inflammation and swelling subside. While the fat that’s removed can’t return, the remaining fat can become larger if you gain weight so it’s very important to keep a healthy, steady weight following your BodyTite procedure.
