Woman in her late 60s desired facial rejuvenation. Complained of saggy skin, jowls, loose skin in her neck and volume loss in central part of her face. She had significant amount of loose skin. As such, she underwent facelift, platysmaplasty (necklift) and fat grafting to face. She is 2 years out from her surgery and looking great! Procedure was performed in the office under local anesthesia and mild sedation. The underlying muscle layer (SMAS) was tightened to give a more lasting result and the skin was redraped to give a natural appearance without looking like she was over tightened. She also underwent full-face laser resurfacing (Sciton profractional laser and microlaser peel) for improvement in texture and quality of the skin as well as to address the fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes and the mouth.
