HALO

About HALO

HALO precisely targets damaged skin to dramatically improve the visible signs of aging.

Halo is a combination of ablative and non-ablative laser technologies that targets many skin conditions. These include fine lines and wrinkles, discoloration, sun damage, the appearance of enlarged pores, acne scars and dull skin tone.

What Results Can You Expect?

You will see improvements in the appearance of your skin in addition to a significant reduction in discoloration, appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, reduced pore size and the reflectivity of your skin. It will glow.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

At Nuveau Plastic Surgery, we will counsel you on your skin goals. You may choose to have one or two deeper treatments or multiple, less aggressive treatments to achieve a similar goal over a longer period of time.

What Happens During The Treatment?

There is minimal discomfort with the treatment. A topical numbing ointment will be placed on the skin for approximately 30 minutes prior to the procedure. The clinician will treat sections of your skin at a time using a crisscross pattern.

What Is The Downtime?

For the first 24 hours, you should keep your skin protected according to your clinician’s instructions. After the first 24 hours, your skin will begin to peel and may continue to do so for up to five days. Makeup can be applied after the first 48 hours.

When Will You See The Results?

You will see initial results between day 2 and day 5 after the treatment. Your skin will continue to improve for several weeks after your Halo treatment.

How Long Will The Results Last?

Halo results can last for several years, as long as the healthy new skin is protected at all times using a broad spectrum sunscreen.
