FaceTite™

What Is Facetite?

Part of the body’s natural aging process is the slowing of collagen and elastin production in the epidermis. The result is much more visible creases, wrinkles, and lines, in addition to loose skin on the neck, jowls, and chin. To fight these symptoms of aging, Nuveau Plastic Surgery provides FaceTite. This exciting nonsurgical procedure, recommended by Dr. Edward Lee, uses radiofrequency-guided lipolysis to melt and dislodge fat cells, causing the skin to tighten and allowing collagen to be created at a faster rate. It’s possible to enjoy a tighter, more youthful facial appearance that presents with fewer wrinkles without dealing with the invasiveness and downtime from lifting operations. We encourage you to schedule an appointment in our Houston, TX office to find out more about FaceTite and its amazing benefits.

About Accutite™

At Nuveau Plastic Surgery, Dr. Lee and his team also provide AccuTite for small, precise areas of the face. AccuTite is a separate handpiece utilized on the same FaceTite technology. As the smallest, minimally invasive radiofrequency device, AccuTite is great for targeting delicate areas. During your initial consultation, Dr. Lee will determine if FaceTite, AccuTite, or a combination of the two is ideal for you.

Ideal Candidates For Facetite

You are a good candidate for this treatment if you’re experiencing early signs of aging and want a boost in collagen production to achieve tighter skin. To be able to undergo this treatment, you shouldn’t be pregnant or have had facial injections performed within the previous 6 – 8 months. A consultation with Dr. Lee will better help you learn more about your qualification for this procedure.

Facetite Technique

This cosmetic therapy utilizes a minimally invasive process that involves placing a tiny cannula under your skin while using local anesthesia. Once the cannula is placed, the temperature will be monitored and controlled via external and internal thermometers to make certain the heat stays at a comfortable level. The radiofrequency energy the FaceTite device emits will be effective in attacking fat cells and will also cause the skin to contract, igniting an increase in collagen production. Sessions normally last about 45 minutes per treated area.

What To Expect After Facetite

Following a FaceTite procedure, you will be sent home to rest and relax for the remainder of the day wearing a compression garment. You will be ready to return to your regular routine by the following day. It might take approximately three days for any discoloration or swelling to fade. Strenuous activities and exercises should be avoided for around two weeks following the treatment. Patients will generally see some visible results directly after their FaceTite therapy. However, since the procedure involves stimulating the collagen process, you will see more gradual improvements for about 3 – 8 weeks afterward. Your results will be long-lasting should you keep a healthy weight through proper diet and exercise.

Younger, Tighter Skin

Aesthetic surgery procedures, like face and neck lifts, do not have to be your only available option for creating tighter, younger-looking skin. FaceTite, offered by our Houston, TX practice, can tighten skin and address a difficult double chin. It uses special radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis that ignites collagen and contracts the epidermis. Call today to schedule your consultation with Dr. Lee at Nuveau Plastic Surgery.
