Woman in her 40s desired facial rejuvenation. Complained of saggy skin, jowls and loose skin in her neck. She has tried numerous non-surgical treatments without significant improvement. As such, she underwent short-scar facelift. She is 6 months out from her surgery and looking great! Procedure was performed in the office under local anesthesia and mild sedation. The underlying muscle layer (SMAS) was tightened to give a more lasting result and the skin was redraped to give a natural appearance without looking like she was over tightened. Scar was kept just around the ear to minimize scar visibility.
