PROCEDURE DETAILS

Patient had previously undergone double eyelid (Asian eyelid surgery) in Korea. He did not like the fact that his eyes were uneven. As such, revisional non-incisional double eyelid surgery was performed. The eyes are symmetric and fold are better formed. Non-incisional double eyelid surgery utilizes stitches that are placed through very small incisions to create the upper eyelid fold (double eyelid or supratarsal crease). Non-incisional (versus incisional) has the benefit of having shorter downtime and is useful in patients who do not have significant redundant (extra) skin that needs to be excised.
